The Love Valley in Goreme Cappadocia
What's the first thing that comes to mind when you see this photo? It's a cool landscape right? The rocks are insane to behold. It will bring about some sort happiness for those who marvel at the size of these hard rock(s). These massive monuments were erected naturally right out of the Earth's bosom and kept growing. Laid bare in the dry desert awaiting for a wet rain that will shape them continually over the centuries to come. They are the Golden Members of Cappadocia's amazing landscapes.
This place is called the Love Valley in Goreme - In Turkey's Cappadocia Region. If the shapes of these rocks have you scratching your head, you're not alone. Indeed, the name of the valley is named so because of the shape that these rocks show. They are large and the rumors are true. They're believed to be a symbol of male fertility. Personally, I think someone out there, an alien perhaps, is probably laughing at the prank it made.
Have you been to Cappadocia? (Puns welcome)
