My Haven on Some Weekends in The Midst of The City Center of Arnhem BTC City

Last Sunday, I went to the city with hub just to air out and later in the afternoon, I thought of climbing up the roof top of the public library just to air some things out.

One of the things people could enjoy in the Netherlands' Bitcoin City of Arnhem is the view up there. This is what it looks like on one side. That's the Eusebius church you could also climb on paying btc to see the city on a different perspective.

Below is the aardvark - a drunk aardvark - statue which children could climb on to and play around. It's there because Arnhem's Burger Zoo has them in it. It's a mammal from Afrika - an insectivore - probably an anteater's cousin just with a much shorter snout. When I went to Burger Zoo in Arnhem, I also saw a live one but they were asleep since they are nocturnal.

That's just one angle. The other is overlooking the biggest cinema and the trees that are now pretty much autumn toned in Sonsbeek Park on the far stretch of the horizon.

I like hanging out up there and that's not the only thing people could do up there.

It is a special place and it isn't just a library.

Here are the other things people could do there.

Read books or study. Every now and then this shelf is adorned with different displays. That Sunday, they were promoting books about grandpas - I couldn't help but take snaps of that nook. It looks pretty cute doesn't it. I'm surprised that grandpas here also knit. Plus those guys in the pajama looks very happy reminds me of my grandfather.

Surf the net using the free wi fi in there. How handy can that be? Surfing the net while doing research in a quiet place. I sometimes go there just to write my book.

Slide on one of those bars on the stairs. Saw several teenagers having fun doing it while I was there.

Give yourself some sort of a free ceramic exhibit tour. Exhibits on those glass shelves are always different. Even the faces on those Buddhistic Rolling Ads changes, too.

These were from last year, right after it's opening after renovation.

Have a mini exposition or art exhibits. I went in a room full of paintings and different artworks we could actually rent for a week or a certain period of time. Unfortunately, I may not share what's featured in there.

Even the street art in front of the entrance was different back then.

Now it's this.

Conduct seminars or meetings in one of their modern function rooms.

Rent one of their rooms for a dance rehearsal.

Rent the auditorium to conduct a seminar or theather play.

Have your wedding reception up there.

Or in my case, enjoy the view on the roof top and the sunset on the other side during autumn. The sun's up till 9 am in summer and it closes before the sun goes down.

They also have separate toilets for men and women.

On the third floor, there is a coffee and tea machines. All for free but help yourself - and if you like reading newspaper they also have that just to the right side of the coffee machine.

The good thing is it's annexed to a restaurant which also offers a very relaxing ambiance .

Hub and I decided to have our "cheat eat". In cold season, we tend to burn faster than during summer. We're both skinny and our metabolism are just pretty fast so sometimes, we "cheat eat". That's when we eat what we don't usually eat. This time I indulged in a machiato with a chocolate caramel cake. It was pretty hard to finish that huge a slice - too sweet. It's delicious but I just don't have a sweet tooth. I only desire sweets during that time of the month or when I get upset over something - women tend to do that. Hub had jasmine tea and a blood orange cake which I loved more than the chocolate caramel cake. He helped me with the later and I had several bites of his cake. Most of the time, spending time in nature helps ease that - but when it's this cold for a walk in the woods - a cheat eat does the job.

They also serve drinks, lunch and dinner. My favorite dish there is their tuna sashimi on mustard, chives, radish, pomegranate and citrus syrup.

They also have other desserts there like this poached pear ice cream and panna cota.

Rozet is stroller, walker and wheelchair friendly. Yes, because they have lifts that would take you to the resto and the rooftop. I don't think pets are allowed in since I haven't seen any.

If you are coming to the Steemfest in Amsterdam and you feel like giving Arnhem the Bitcoin City a visit, after a long shopping day using your btc on shops that accept them, check out Rozet.

From Amsterdam, take the train and get off at Arnhem station and just take a 15 minute walk to Rijn Street. Take the second street to the right and at that end of that alley is Rozet.

I took some of these pictures with my Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 edition and the old ones with my Samsung Galaxy Note 1 and that close up of the lamps in Momento using hub's Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 edition since it has a bigger screen.
