Cities are sprinkled with sugar. Yes, it's winter. The best of this season is that in the north comes accompanied by Christmas but that is theme for another post. Also from my point of view it brings people together due to cold people gather to drink beer or wine, to eat and talk, to sing and enjoy the art or something else.

Although in London it is common that it rains in winter doesn't snow much even with its changing weather it is full of very cheerful people. Guess what? One of the main activities in this city is to skate on the ice. Cliché will be my favorite word in this post.

It's for me the typical Christmas town, Tallinn Estonia it's cliché and perfect why? because it has a Christmas market, and the well-known Song Festival Grounds. It also has beautiful old structures and tradition of choral singing in churches is intact, enter a church it is to go back to 1960. Tallinn has a perfect medieval air and a different language. Its people are proud of Estonian language.

They say berna is so cold you can make an igloo. In Suiza they even have an igloo hotel. Crazy right? The main activities here are, inside eating and drinking and on the outside die of cold, well maybe the second not so true they actually practice skiing (for not die of cold).

They are very artistic and as you could see in my previous post of Switzerland its buildings retain an architecture very appreciated in Europe and in the world.

A cathedral made of candy sprinkled with sugar is the St. Basil's Cathedral in winter in Russia moscow. Perhaps in the photograph you may think it look small, but it is immense has 9 side chapels. The convent of Novodevichy also has a structure taken from a story by the Brothers Grimm.

You will noticeably continue to die of cold after that tour so I recommend going to red October, they say it is a chocolate factory but it has galleries, gyms, shops and even bars and nightclubs. I want a THAT chocolate factory near my house.

Ok, usually when you think of Paris you immediately think of the Eiffel Tower but this time it will be a little different. You gonna spend most of the time in France sheltering from the cold in museums and monuments. You can enjoy the cathedral of Notre Dame and feel like a hunchback ringing the bell. In spite of all the museums definitively the first one that would put a serious foot the Louvre. But Paris seems so perfect that I feel that I disrespect by speaking so little of it. I love Paris.

In my opinion The central park in New York has its greatest splendor in spring so to see it frozen does not cause me a second visit, or to make good photos. What I would love is the cliché: the ignition of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, ice skating, Christmas shopping, the ferry and many, many concerts. All who have been there always tell me: Take your best coat and go around the city.
