myday #23 - Australia's Sunburnt Country

The rural views of Australia are quite the site. For this image I travelled around three hours in the state of Victoria to find a windmill and some water. My aim was to photograph the scene at sunset to create an iconic Australian image that reflected Australian rural life.

Water is such an important part of living in the country so the windmill was a perfect element to help portray the theme. I added the texture of a salt lake over the images to help depict the sunburnt earth Australia was known for.
