Everyone probably knows about the LINE Friends shop in Harajuku, Tokyo.
That was also the first LINE Friends store that I had visited in my life. In total I have been there about over 4 times, mainly because I was in Harajuku. I have also seen one in Bangkok but did not have the time to check it out. For those unfamiliar, LINE is a messenger, social media platform that is quite popular in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Korea I believe. But not many people know that LINE Friends is in Fukuoka as well!
This time, I managed to find the one in Fukuoka and paid it a visit!
Me and Brown
It was not the easiest of shops to find, and you might have to walk around a few winding roads before reaching it.
did you spot it?
Hi there!
We found the shop!
I think that this LINE Friends branch is actually bigger than the one in Harajuku. It is 3 storeys high and there are many things on display. But the third level isn't exactly LINE Friends. I'll show you what's over there later!
There is just so much merchandise sold here! From T shirts to pens, mugs, phone cases and towels! I can't really tell if there are outlet and region specific special merchandise though.
walking upstairs
There are just so many decorations all over the shop!

That is BROWN sitting by the cafe by himself. Let's go sit with him!

Macaroons for sale! But who would bear to eat them?
(is it Macaroons? or Macarons?) I don't really eat them though, too sweet for me~
The mugs look really cute.
This is what's at the third level. It's specially for a character called Usamaru, but I'm not so sure what it's about, so I just took a glance and went back downstairs to look at the merchandise.
I used to use LINE quite often in the past, and I recall that it was one of the more interesting chat platforms with the innovative stickers. But my friends stopped using and it was only just me, so I didn't really use it anymore. Nowadays I try not to be chatting on my phone too much anyway, but I mainly use telegram and facebook messenger.
A few more photos before leaving!
bye bye! see you again soon!
It was a slow paced day and we just took the time to enjoy the sights of Fukuoka and Tenjin, while pondering what to eat for dinner...
Till the next post!
