Real Life Captured #28: Quito Ecuador Part Three (15 photos)

My steemit friends! Here we are back on the streets of Quito Ecuador. One thing you'll notice in these photos is that everyone is seemingly trying to made a buck. It may not be an easy life, but around the world, rich and poor people generally work hard to get by.

One thing I love about lesser developed countries which comprise about 80% of the world is that they are not overrun with corporate interest. When everyone is working for a corporation like Wal-mart, McDonalds, or Microsoft it really waters down society and culture.

This is part of why I named these series of photos "Real Life Captured". Working at Best Buy as a sales clerk is not a reality or opportunity for most people around the world. Making money for so many has a direct correlation to food, culture, and tackling life's responsibilities head on. It's all very real!

Life for some may be selling apples on the street and Kichwa is your native language; or selling homemade ice-cream the same way your grandmother did 60 years ago. Maybe you own a store and have hired a kid to stand on stilts handing out flyers.

These people are all their own boss, small time entrepreneurs, and to me this is as real as it gets! Now let's have another look at the real lives of the people of Quito Ecuador!
