My steemit friends! Here we are again wandering through the Santa Clara Market in Quito Ecuador! I just love markets don't you? Here in lesser developed countries like Ecuador markets really are the center of life. People often don't even think about it as work, they just think about as life.
After conversing in Spanish with one older lady. She says she's been selling vegetables here for fifty years! She says she raised her children here, all her friends are here. She wouldn't know who she was or what she'd do without this place. For so many this is a shared life experience.
