My Steemit friends, with out a doubt The Amsterdam Bar is one of the nicest and most happening places to relax and watch the sunset in Koh Phagnan Thailand. It was the day after the full moon party last month and my friend George from London and James from South Africa decided to pay 100 baht ($3 USD) each and take an outfitted pick up truck taxi to the other side of the island and then up a hill to this incredible place.
You can only imagine why they call it the Amsterdam Bar. Let's put it this way they've paid off the police and sell more smoke than alcohol there. They'll sell you a fat "Bob Marley" for $6 dollars. Everyone is lounging around, enjoying the music, the company, and especially the view. They even have a swimming pool but unfortunately it was closed when I was there.
The food is a bit overpriced and not so good, but it's hard to mess up a coconut! Regardless people really don't come here for the food anyway. Just take a look at all the shoes left at the door to get an idea of the hangout atmosphere. This is one special place and should not be missed for tokers or non-tokers a like.
