Hey there my Steemit friends! Welcome to part two of this very cool place in the Galapagos, Shipwreck Bay. This bay is basically part of the main town of Puerto Baquirizo. If you counted each sea lion as a resident of the town I think the population would double!
It was such a trip living here for ten days. Everyday I would walk past this beach, or on it, or through it! I never got tired of being one with the sea lions. They seemed so domesticated that you could reach out and pet them. However that was prohibited.
Make sure to watch the video below and you'll really see what I mean. You'd think I was in a zoo, the part that you should not be in. I was surrounded by these guys and they didn't seem to mind how close I got to them in the least.
The last few photos I caught some strange behavior. Isn't that sea lion a bit old to be nursing? Anyway, this place is really something and they call this beach Shipwreck Bay; however I think a more appropriate name would be Sea Lion Bay. Now let's have a look at these guys!
