Money where my mouth is - Celebrating 7k SP

Everyone who has given me a few minutes of their time knows that I'm always spouting about how thinking long term is how we win this game. How it might not be important at all to focus on the valuation of tokens per say, but build a network, a community so that you can "survive" the crazy swings that are sure to come.

Well, I don't want those words to be just words. If I only said those things but doubted buying some STEEM at these prices I would be just playing a silly game so I here I am, showing my fellow Steemians, my community, I'm not going anywhere. Truth is that STEEM could drop to 70 cents and I would be scraping at least one benjamin to buy some more.

I said on this very blog I was going to reach 7k SP before the end of the month, but it's just the middle and my self set goal has been achieved. To be honest with you, I remember thinking back in February that I would probably never get "up there". I would see dolphin accounts like the unreachable elite class of STEEM, silly me.

I'm about to turn one year old on this platform, today marks day 349 but It seems like I've been "in the trenches" for a lot longer than that.

I wanted to write this short post to celebrate this tiny milestone. Even though it may not mean much to some, it means a lot to me, and hopefully if you are feeling like you could never pull it off, the fact that a regular joe has done so, will make you get pumped up and keep on grinding along.

I don't have a beer tonight, just a weird cup of coffee that is cold and nasty.. but I'm still celebrating with it.
