Hello Steemians. Greetings.
In pursuit of the objectives of @euronation scheme which includes, among other things, aggressive promotion of Steemit, the team held its second whatsaap-based webinar on October 28, 2017, for an audience of 135 people who were manually added to that specific whatsaap room — Euronation Newbies Room — purposefully to hold webinar for them.
The webinar started with me introducing myself and my team to the audience:
It is not about having an audience of 135 people but how many of this number are actually interested. To find out, I asked if we have a quorum to proceed. More than 80 hands went up to signify their interests in the program:
I then began with what the program is all about and skills that are needed to make progress. Some of the key points that were discussed during the webinar is shown in the image below:
The above images are made up of some key areas that were touched during the webinar. The team went on to show the audience how to write proper #introduceyourself post and other aspects of the program, including differences between steem, SBD and Steem power. We also made it know that the community does not tolerate plagiarism and its likes. And finally directed them to visit www.steemit.com and read the frequently asked questions section in order to be well informed about the program.

Following the success of the webinar, a lot of the were very pleased and expressed gratitude for bringing such rare opportunity to their knowledge.
Delay in new accounts approval, a major challenge in today's new member's enrollment
Aftermath of the webinar was followed by mass registration of new accounts that have been awaiting approval one week after registration. This is not a good experience for the prospective Steemians. We members of team @euronation are using this opportunity to call on the management to look into this bureaucratic bottleneck. Seen below are some of the accounts that are awaiting approval
This article is a preliminary report of all that have transpired since October 28, 2017, being the day the team held webinar session with the aim of getting new members on board. As the registered accounts get approved, we will keep reporting our campaign progress. Thank you for reading.
@euronation team is a group of people with common goals and desires. The team was created with the intention to create awareness around steem ecosystem, getting new members on board the program, nurturing as well as mentoring towards excellence and helping them to find strong footing in the program. We guide new members on the ethos of steemit, how they can be creative and come up with amzing ideas and impact the community at large.
