Translation Contribution to the MMEX = Money Manger Ex Open Source Project
This is a good open source project that I discovered in Crowdin and is worthy to translate to get the app go global. I did the translation of this project in Chinese Traditional Version. They are in need of more translators to translate this project to other languages. Please continue to read through this post and I will show you how I did the translation successfully , so that you can also follow along and do the same.
Proof of the Translation Completed to 100%
This project is quite long as there are 4 Parts to the Translation. Please take a look at the following screen shot.
This translation is quite extensive as it covers 4 parts:
- To Dropbox
- To Google Play
- To data base categories
- To Text from the application
All the Blue lines has reached to the end, 100% meaning that the Chinese Traditional Translation is fully completed.
Do each strings of translation one by one and you will get there.

Short Guided Tutorial to help newbies to come on board to translate this open source project
There are about 4 Rounds of 14 Pages that Need Translating for each section.
Here is a screen shot of the strings of words that need translating for this project.
-- For each page that I do the translation, you see these strings of words in English
-- The orange bullet shows that these strings of word need translated.
-- So I went over each one of these strings to translate
-- The Red box shows that there are 13 Pages to this Part 1 translation.
Proofs of all 13 Pages of Translation Completely done
Since you cannot see the inside translation, you can see the different string of words for each page that need translating.
The screen shots are proofs to show that I have done the translation for that page.
Page 1 of 13 Translation Completed
Here is the screen shot of Page 1 where you see the strings of words that need translation.
All the bullets of these strings have turned green meaning that the translation is completed for all these words. That is the proof of Page 1 Translation fully completed.
Proof of Page 2 of 13 Fully Translated
Page 2 has another new sets of strings of words to translate.
The green bullet proofs that this page 2 translation is completed.
Proof of Page 3 of 13 - translation completed
Page 3 has a new sets of strings of words to translate
Again the bullet shows that this page is completed. Once done, can move on to Page 4.

Here is the screen shot that shows the strings of words that need translating on Page 4.
Page 4 is completed when all the orange bullets turn green. Once dones, can move on to Page 5.
Page 5 of 13 Translation Completed
Here is the screen shot that shows what needs translating for Page 5.
When all the orange bullet turns green, it means that this page of translation is finished. Can go on to Page 6.
Page 6 of 13 Translation Completed
Here is the screen shot for Page 6. Another new set of strings of words appear.
Once the orange bullet turns all green, the translation is complete for this page. You can't skip sentences. You need to do them one by one.
Page 7 of 13 - Translation Completed
Here is the screen shot of the inside page 7 with all the new strings of words to translate.
Page 7 somehow is easier to translate. When all the orange bullet turns green, then you can move on to Page 8.
Page 8 of 13 - Translation fully completed
The following screen shot shows Page 8 with the new strings of words.
Translate this page line by line until all the orange bullets turn green.
Page 9 of 13 - Proof of Translation Completed
Here is the screen shot of Page 9 with new strings of word to translate.
I translated each sentence one by one until I reached the end. The orange bullets all turned green signifying that the translation is complete.
Page 10 of 13 - Fully Complete in the translation
Here is the screen shot of what Page 10 looks like in the translation page.
Page 10 is quite fun to translate because you get used to the words that have been used easily. Once all the orange bullets turn green, the translation is complete.
Page 11 of 13 -- Proof of Translation Completed

When all the orange bullet turns green, the translation is complete.
Page 12 of 13 - Proof of Page is completed in translation

When all the strings of words are translated on this page, the orange bullets turn green. Now we move on to the last page!
Page 13 of 13 - last Page of translation! Yay!
Here is the last page of the translation.
Finally you reach the last page of this first part.
4 Rounds of Translation as there are 4 Parts to this translation.
You keep translating all the 4 parts. When Part 1 is finished, it is only 25% completed.
This translation takes a bit of time to work on because it is quite lengthy.
Final Proof of the Entire Document is translated
Here is the final page when all 4 Parts of Translation is fully complete.
When you see this box and you can move on to the next section until all 4 Sections are complete.
Chinese Traditional Icon is now moved to the bottom of the page because the translation is 100% complete.
The following screen shot shows that the translation is Complete waiting for Proof Readers to come in to go through the documents. Right now it 0% approved because only the translation is complete.
Calling out to Proof Readers to come in to go through the second time of the translation to vote this so that it will get 100% approval for the Chinese version to go global.

Money Manager Ex is a free, open-source, cross-platform, easy-to-use personal finance software. It primarily helps organize one's finances and keeps track of where, when and how the money goes. It is also a great tool to get a bird's eye view of your financial worth.
