Contribution to the Open Source Project - Launch Pad
The Launch Pad is an open source project that were started 3 years ago where the Game Launcher was written on C#. This project was made available free for commercial and non-commercial use since then.
So yesterday I decided that this was a worthwhile project to translate so as to get this project go global.
I did the Chinese Simplified Translation and brought the translation to 100% completed. Some one started the translation 3 years ago and it was only 16% done, so I updated and translated the 84% of this project.

The translation need to be updated. As you can see in the following screen shot, the previous translator only completed 16% of the translation.
I went into the red boxed link there "message.po" to start contributing to this translation project.

The following screen shot shows the translation that needs to get done. There are 32 strings of English words that need translating.
I translated each string one by one by choosing the best translated Simplified version. And if the version is not correct or no version to choose, I would write in my own translation in the middle column in the middle box there.
As I went through the strings one by one, the orange bullets on the left side will turn green bullets.

After going through all the 32 strings of words, you can see from the following screen shot that the entire translation is updated. No more orange bullet strings of words to translate.
Once all bullet strings are finished the entire project is updated in the translation.
Proof of the Project 100% Translated
We are asked to provide proofs that the work had been translated to Chinese Simplified to 100%. Here is the screen shot.
The green line shows that the project has already been 16% approved with proof-readers. The blue line going all the way to the end proves that the translation has been done to 100%.

It says that I have contributed 28 strings of translations to this project in Simplified Chinese.

This project runs on Unix and Windows, so a lot of the technical words involve installing, updating and verifying game and how to handle the change of logs.
