QUINOA PANCAKES πŸ‡πŸ’›πŸ‡

Hello My Dearest Foodies,

I bought a box of QUINOA FLAKES a while ago as I was planning to make a porridge, but instead I made pancakes, lol. They turned out delicious, so I tough you may like them too. However, you can use rolled oats instead, if you don't have quinoa flakes. I have couple of oatmeal pancakes recipes on my blog, so have a look if you wish.

QUINOA PANCAKES
Quinoa pancakes with Cacao and Peanut Butter Sauce
Vegan – Gluten Free

INGREDIENTS for 4 pancakes
β€’ Quinoa flakes 1 cup
β€’ Banana 1
β€’ Chia egg (1tbs mixed with 3tbs water. Let it sit for 5 minutes)
β€’ Cacao powder 1 tbs
β€’ Plant based milk Β½ cup (you may add more if needed)
β€’ Baking powder 1tsp
β€’ Pinch of pink salt
β€’ Vanilla extract ΒΌ tsp
β€’ Coconut oil 2tbs

PROCESS
β€’ Blend all ingredients in a blender except chia egg.
β€’ Transfer into a bowl, add chia egg and mix thoroughly.
β€’ If the dough becomes to thick, you may add 1 or 2 tbs of filtered water.
β€’ Heat up a 1tsp of coconut oil on a frying pan and by using a ladle, pour ΒΌ cup of the mixture on the hot oil.
β€’ Lower the heat to medium and after 2 minutes flip on the other side for another 2 – 3 minutes.
β€’ Serve with Peanut Butter Sauce and your favorite fruits.

PEANUT BUTTER SAUCE
β€’ Peanut butter 1cup
β€’ Maple syrup ΒΌ cup
β€’ Filtered water Β½ cup
β€’ Pinch of Himalayan pink salt

Blend all with a whisk.
