Greetings steemians! Today I am announcing another way for you minnows out there to get some whaleshare tokens--- a writing contest! For those of you not familiar with whaleshares you can read more about it here. Since we've been talking about it, people have been asking how they can get their hands on some of these tokens. Since they aren't being traded on the bitshares dex yet the only way to get them is through our contests and giveaways. So far, the only contests we've had are the logo contest and this one where the lovely and talented @patelincho has offered to buy the winner a full upvote. I have also donated enough to @the50's lottery announced here but we feel like that is not enough. So, with that in mind, I am announcing our first writing contest!

How to enter

To enter write a post on why you like the idea of whaleshares. As an image, choose your favorite entry from the official whaleshares logo contest and make sure whaleshares is the first tag. Then, upvote, resteem, and comment on this post with a link to your post and your bitshares or openledger username. The winners will be the 3 comments with the most upvotes. First prize will be 500 whaleshares, second prize is 300 whaleshares, and third prize is 100 whaleshares! Winner will be determined at this posts first payout in 7 days.
