Technical and Economical

• upgraded my witness node to a more powerful machine, in a more accessible colocation facility. The upgrade went smoothly, and the node is running fine, with no missed blocks
• kept my price feed bias, at 0% - SBD is trading at $0.89, and it lost the peg
• lowered my SBD APR at 1% - in an attempt to bring SBD back to the peg
• kept the account registration fee at $1 (I use a script called steem witness toolbox, available for free on Github, for publishing the feed price and adjusting a few blockchain props)
• kept the block size at 65,536

Community

• decided to join the SteemFest Hackathon, on November 1st, in Lisbon
• continued the series of educational posts about SMT (Smart Media Tokens), here are all 4 episodes (if there will be more demand and if the white paper will still hide untranslated gems, I will follow up with more)

• warned the members of the community about a phishing scam going on on Steemit, which was fortunately shut down very fast
• assisted with information during Steemit DDoS attack and suggested alternative ways of posting
• announced that steem.city is on hold, focusing on other projects
• started to configure my second Steem-dedicated machine, a content node (primarily for steem.supply)

Overall Position
