@Ihashfury- Meet The Witnesses #29, Remastered

#29 - @Ihashfury

@Ihashfury is one of the more mysterious witnesses I have researched so far. He rarely posts, and indeed, has not posted since June of last year. His last comment was approximately 4 months ago.

His early posts are shrouded in, what appear in retrospect, to be some small degree of controversy, but in reality are probably simply test posts flagged to reduce reward to 0. They are mostly low content (reposts or test posts), and are universally flagged by both @berniesanders and @dantheman, also known as Dan Larimer, the very founder of Bitshares, Steemit, and now, EOS. I wouldn’t read too much into this, as most of us post junk early on when we are testing the platform, but it seem worth mentioning.

Wow, we're up to 2 years on some posts now!

Indeed, even his initial witness post holds a flag from @dantheman, but it is also flagged as a test! From what I can tell, a lot more flags were flying around back then (to redistribute rewards)than there are now. In fact, it seems that flags were simply used as the inverse of an upvote in many cases. This and the previous paragraph are probably mostly irrelevant, however, it’s impossible for me to know more without access to those who were doing the flagging.

Despite his lack of posting, Ihashfury is a frequent voter. This author has personally noticed Ihashfury is very wide-ranging with his votes, touching all the many corners of Steemit. I reliably see his name popping up in voter lists all across the platform, and indeed, on many of my own posts, for which I can only say: thanks!

Ihashfury appears to be very knowledgeable about the Bitshares platform in particular, which you can see @TeamSteem note in the post entitled “Distributed Access to the Bitshares Decentralized Exchange”. He has also written guides on running your own “decentralized” exchange node over the Bitshares protocol.

Ihashfury is also a Bitshare witness, at #22.

Ihashfury holds 5,000 SP, and is powering down.
