As some of you know, @drakos made a new Steemit-help site called Steemian.info. Right on that site is a easy to use tool that pulls up the list of witnesses an account votes for and colors the inactive (dead/defunct) witnesses in red.

We invite everyone to go to the site and check their witness list. If you vote for an inactive witness that's basically a wasted vote. That vote isn't going anywhere as that witness decided to take their server off-line. They are no longer a participating witness. If the witness reactivates at whatever point in the future you can re-vote it again.
If your list of voted witnesses is black, that means all of your votes are going to active witnesses.

While we have your attention, we remind you to take witness voting seriously. Educate yourselves about what each witness brings to the table, not just the top 20 ones. Don't blindly vote. Every vote matters, from minnow to whale.
