Our Witnesses determine the Future of Steemit!
(Source - Witness Voting Engagement Report by @Lukestokes)Fortunately the Witness Vote Engagement on Steemit seems to increase slowly as @Lukestokes just confirmed in his latest report that got published yesterday. According to his analysis more than 22% of all Steemians are now at least voting for one Witness. It´s still not perfect but already about 2% better than just two or three weeks ago.
Therefore I want to introduce you to @Reggaemuffin today, who isn´t just a Witness but a real asset for our Community. Due to his Developer skills we may e.g. enjoy the awesome services from @Minnowbooster (possibly many more from @Buildteam pretty soon) and our Newcomers a warm greeting from his @Welcomebot.

For sure that´s still not enough for him, so that he´ll grab his Masters Degree before (officially) becoming a full time Steemit Developer.
But he´s not just sitting in front of his Computer the whole day developing some great tools. No he´s rather active in whitewater kayaking, martial arts and during winter he as well might go for some skiing off the tracks in the amazing white powder, which I would join him for right away :)
Why You should vote for @Reggaemuffin!
As I´ve asked him why he became a Witness he answered straight away that he wants to enforce Steemit as a solid Witness, who actually got some real Knowledge of what it´s all about. Especially in regards to the many Witnesses without any technical background I think that this is a very good point.
In the end the Steem Blockchain can only survive whenever the Witnesses are confident in managing their servers, nodes and code as it would otherwise go downhill pretty quickly. But let´s not just focus on his know-how but as well what he stands for as a Steem Witness.
Besides supporting new Users through @Welcomebot and some Tutorial he wrote on Steemit @Reggaemuffin especially outlines that he wants to promote original content and use his time and Power to ensure that everyone on Steemit will have the right to say what he or she wants to say.
Taking a look on his activities on the Blockchain you´ll as well recognize him as an active warrior against plagiarism and spam as he´s downvoting respective content regularly. Especially in regards to the numerous Spammers we´ve all seen on Steemit the last weeks this is definitely a plus for him as he really cares about the Topic!
So let´s show him, that his efforts and actions are appreciated by supporting him as a Witness. In my opinion he definitely deserves the Witness Votes of many more and should at least be seated among our Top 50 Witnesses.
