Every underdog got a story, in fact, they have the most fascinating ones. What better way to tell your tale than showing you are actually human with flaws, struggles and all.

We have so many underdogs all around us. It might seem easy to cheer for the underdog in movies and fiction, but the reality is, the reason the underdog is the underdog is because they are often overlooked by the majority.

Personally, I don't feel uncomfortable being the underdog, in fact, I use the underdog state to my advantage. Although there is a duality that comes with the underdog state.

Some people gave up in the underdog state, some people died in the underdog state, while others are able to use the positive factors of the underdog to their advantage.

The life of the underdog can be unsettling, no one wants to be constantly underrated. but I believe the underdog state can be utilized for success.

So many people had their life-defining moments in the underdog state.

I think one of the reasons why the underdog finds it hard to gain support from the majority is because, in some ways, we are or were once underdogs. We know the struggles of the underdog too well.

It can become easy to project such struggles, failures and thereby dismissing the underdog. only a few are able to see the potential of the underdog.

With a bit of self-reflection, I can say that I was once the underdog in my family, I was the "problem-child" who never seem to do anything right. I was always compared to my Siblings.

A turning point came when unfortunately my dad passed, everyone became so broken and depressed. I can remember my mother's teary eye when she said to me "what do we do now?"

For some reason, I was able to channel my inner strength and step up to the plate, at a time when everyone was frozen with fear, uncertainty, and doubt. I took on the leadership role and two years later we still getting stronger together as a family.

But that is just one area of my life. In other areas, I'm still considered an underdog, but it's all about not giving up and looking out for the right opportunity to show my potential.

Like I said earlier, I don't mind being an underdog, well that's because being an underdog has some pretty sweet advantage.

THE HERO FACTOR - No one makes a better hero than the underdog. what makes a true hero is the story behind the hero. almost all the heroes and success stories we read about are all made of underdogs, lets even go back to one of the oldest book written (The Bible). The story of David and Goliath is still relevant till today.

FEAR OF FAILURE - The underdog has little to no fear of failure. Everyone already underrates the underdog, taking advantage of this you are able to take some risks no one else can dare to make. Never push the underdog to the wall, they've got the worst bite with nothing to lose.

POSITIVE PRESSURE - Everyone feels pressure, but the underdog feels a different kind of pressure, being at the bottom the only reasonable pressure you can have is the one that pushes you upwards.

HUNGER FOR VICTORY - The underdog is able to tap into a dedicated desire to win like no other.

If there are any underdogs out there, this is dedicated to you. If you keep taking the right steps, it's not a matter of, IF you're going to make it, it's a matter of WHEN, but WHEN you get up there, don't forget the mindset of the underdog that got you there in the first place.

Thanks for reading. peace and love.
