Dear Reader

I am writing this guide to assist Steemians on how to quote texts and other peoples works.

Copying and pasting other peoples works without them being recognized is known as plagiarism and it is a serious academic offence.

Theft of intellectual properties is a great crime which many people are not aware of.For instance the Germany example.

The Steemit Community as I have seen rewards more those who write their own content and quote authors ethically when necessary.

One of the things I like is that ''copy and pasters'' are losers on this community since they get flagged quickly for producing fake content. Personally I think plagiarism is an unnecessary way to get rewards since I think writing your own content will benefit you in all areas(mentally, self-esteem, self-cofidence, reputation, rewards etc )

Purpose of post- To teach others how to quote ethically.
