I love the word “Attraversiamo”. Attraversiamo means "Let's cross over" in Italian. The word got famous in the book “Eat, Pray, Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert. My daughter gave me the book as a Christmas present and I’ve watched the movie as well.
In the movie, the character is played by Julia Roberts and she travels, first to Italy, then to India and, finally, to Indonesia, searching for her purpose in life. These three countries embody, each one, the three words eat, pray, love. In Italy, she fell in love for pasta and the word attraversiamo, because of the way it sounded. The word ended up being her life motto.
Attraversiamo is symbolic, means more than just "let's cross over." It means that, in our life, we shall keep on moving, changing paths and attitudes in order to pursue happiness.
That we can always become better persons.
That we must live our life to its fullest and don't live with regrets.
That we shall always keep our dreams and never give up trying to achieve them.
Attraversiamo!
