Today's snippet of my current painting, just a glimpse now.

I really enjoyed sharing a bit of this larger work yesterday. Here it is again, to keep the mystery going.

As many of you may know, I usually share my sketches or my watercolour studies, but with this piece I have not shared anything. I hinted at it possibly being in my Singularity Series and I think today's little sliver of the building up detail might give that away a bit.

I was happy as well, yesterday, that @saracampero , a member of the whaleshares curation team selected it for discussion at their fun Monday evening (6 pm EST) chats on their discord channel for what is called the curation lounge. I had an appointment last night so could only be there a bit and they were SO kind that they even bumped up my little segment, which was very kind and it was nice to hear others chat about it. They do such a great service there, each of their curators picking two posts and they all discuss and share it.

That is exactly the type of thing I LOVE about Steemit. We are scattered all over the globe, but this place has such a 'small community' feel about it. I can't imagine anything like that happening on Facebook, can you? You should check out their discord channel. I am still trying to make time and to really learn how to use discord, but am finding some lovely friends on there.

A silly aside about my own tech incompetence sometimes is related to my attempts at Discord. I had no idea how to find when others had tagged you or mentioned you. I'd get emails saying so and so mentioned you and I'd follow the link only to find myself just at the basic discord entry point. It wasn't until someone there told me how to that I realized my error. Yet, others may have thought me rude by ignoring them (by mistake I might add) but instead we all had a good laugh about it. That is the sort of thing that is really so good about Steemit and Discord. I am truly happy with these little subtle changes that are happening in our ever increasing digital lives.

Well, I'll close this post by saying, stay tuned for more snippets of this work. I'll unveil it at some point in it's entirety, but it's kind of fun working on bits of it and sharing it. I hope you do like it when it is finished.
