GERMAN BEER OF THE DAY ON TOUR #5 - Augustiner Hell at Nürnberger Bratwürstglöckl am Dom in Munich

Hello steemit,

today I present you another German Beer that crossed my way this week. It's the Augustiner Hell, which I enjoyed during a Christmas party night at Nürnberger Bratwürstglöckl am Dom in Munich.

Cheers!

So, but today I want to tell you the full story of the evening. We startet at one of Munich's "Weihnachtsmärkten" in the City near Marienplatz.

At a "Weihnachtsmarkt" they only serve "Glühwein" (mulled wine), but no beer, so I was forced to drink some mugs of this stuff.

Marienplatz Munich, Munich Town Hall and Christmas tree

After this "Glühwein"-WarmUp we moved to the restaurant, the "Nürnberger Bratwürstglöckl am Dom", a typically bavarian inn. The site is the small house in the middle of the picture.

The location is directly opposite of the "Frauenkirche", the main church of Munich.

It seems as if there is beer here ...

We reserved the exclusive "Dürer Stube" for our Christmas Party.

Ok, it was a cold night, so just enter the inn now through the main entrance ...

Inside the location in the upper floor...

Finally we reached the "Dürer Stube" ...

Fake-Windows on the wall.

But we don't care. We are hungry and thirsty, let's check the menu.

I ordered a Beer (what else :-)), but needed to wait some minutes. So I had time to make photos of the beermat ...

Finally I got a beer ...

The restaurant is famous for serving the world famous Nürnberger Bratwürstchen. So I needed to take them ...

As dessert we ordered the "Caramelised Kaiserschmarrn". Very delicious.

I needed more of this stuff. There was more available ...

But finally we returned to our beers. Cheers!
