The power of prophetic strategic action. Born of Holy Spirit; not of the flesh. A sure Word of prophecy.

This is the fourth article in the teaching series A Sure Word of Prophecy by Princess Bola Adelani: the power of strategic action.
          No action.
          No manifestation.

The waiters & procastinators

Ecclesiastes 11:4Amplified Bible (AMP)
4 He who watches the wind [waiting for all conditions to be perfect] will not sow [seed], and he who looks at the clouds will not reap [a harvest].
Ecc 11:4 AMP

Christians are waiting on God, a Santa Claus who will shortly come down the chimney. Waiting for perfect conditions. Hyper spiritual Christians are praying for Christmas. God is their genie, in a bottle, on demand.
God, however, is waiting on Christians. To move, to take action towards their destiny, to take the steps necessary for Him to propel them to their next level.

Busy doers

26 Therefore I do not run without a definite goal; I do not flail around like one beating the air [just shadow boxing]. 27 But [like a boxer] I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached [the gospel] to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified [as unfit for service].
1 Cor 9:26-27 AMP

Busy doers take action. One program to another, beating the air. Christians mistake their business for being productive. They have no results to show for their busyness.
Busy doers take actions that are not strategic.
Busy doers constantly post on social media.

Many people, especially long-standing Christians, are sitting down idle, folding their arms, expecting the miracle, the promise of God to fall into their laps, to land in their living rooms & fall into their bank accounts.

The world does not take the church seriously because we are all talk.
All we have is faith & a big mouth.
We are churched out. Tired with program, after program. Some have even shipwrecked their faith.
         OUCH

         Under
         Capacity
         Hurts

14 What is the benefit, my fellow believers, if someone claims to have faith but has no [good] works [as evidence]? Can that [kind of] faith save him? [No, a mere claim of faith is not sufficient—genuine faith produces good works.] 15 If a brother or sister is without [adequate] clothing and lacks [enough] food for each day,

  • Can faith alone save you?
  • Can faith alone bring you results?
  • Can faith alone bring you transformation?
  • Can faith alone bring you manifestation?

16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace [with my blessing], [keep] warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do?
Jam 2:14-16 AMP

         No works.
         No action.
         No manifestation.

The world is waiting for Christians to show up.

The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Are you ready to take action steps born of Holy Spirit?

Strategic, prophetic action?

The four lepers let Samaria know that the siege is over; that famine has ended. In spite of their past treatment, they respond with unselfishness & generosity, thus, saving a city.

3 Now four men who were [a]lepers were at the entrance of the [city’s] gate; and they said to one another, “Why should we sit here until we die? 4 If we say, ‘We will enter the city’—then the famine is in the city and we will die there; and if we sit still here, we will also die. So now come, let us go over to the camp of the Arameans (Syrians). If they let us live, we will live; and if they kill us, we will only die.”

Decisions

We are a product of our decisions.

Not our environment.

  • Have you come to a decision?
  • Why are you sitting here?
  • Why are you broke, busted & disgusted?
  • Why am I so frustrated?
  • Why am I not manifesting the promises of God?
  • Why am I not a kingdom mover & shaker?
  • Why do miracle signs & wonders not follow you?
  • Why do you not have fruit & souls, as yet?
  • Have you reached your tipping point?
  • Are you desperate? Have you had it? Are you done?
  • Have you finished giving excuses for why it is not possible?

Are you aware that God has called you to more?

Do you want to make an impact & leave a legacy?

Do you want to make a mark for eternity?

5 So they got up at twilight to go to the Aramean camp. But when they came to the edge of the camp, there was no one there. 6 For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the sound of chariots, and the sound of horses, the sound of a great army. They had said to one another, “The king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come [and fight] against us.” 7 So the Arameans set out and fled during the twilight, and left their tents, horses, and donkeys, even left the camp just as it was, and fled for their lives.

Calculate the risk involved.

Assess the information.

Count the cost.

  • What is the worst-case scenario?
  • Do you use your brain as well as your faith?
  • Do you make intelligent assessments?

8 When these lepers came to the edge of the camp, they went into one tent and ate and drank, and carried away from there silver, gold, and clothing, and went and hid them. Then they went back and entered another tent and carried [some valuable things] from there also, and went and hid them.
9 Then they said one to another, “We are not doing the right thing. This is a day of good news, yet we are keeping silent. If we wait until the morning light, some punishment [for not reporting this now] will come on us. So now come, let us go and tell the king’s household.”

You may be a leper in your body; you do not have to be a leper in your mind.

Formulate a strategic plan.

Have clarity about the mission.

Articulate an ungarbled message.

Are you inspired by Holy Spirit ideas?

10 So they came and called to the gatekeepers of the city. They told them, “We went to the camp of the Arameans (Syrians), and behold, there was no one there, nor the sound of man there—only the horses and donkeys tied up, and the tents [had been left] just as they were.” 11 Then the gatekeepers called out and it was reported to the king’s household inside [the city].

12 Then the king got up in the night and said to his servants, “I will tell you what the Arameans have done to us. They know that we are hungry; so they have left the camp to hide themselves in the open country, thinking, ‘When they come out of the city, we shall take them alive and get into the city.’” 13 One of his servants replied, “Please let some men take five of the horses which remain inside the city. Consider this: [if they are caught then at worst] they will be like all the people of Israel who are left in the city; [even if they are killed then] they will be like all the people of Israel who have already died. So let us send [them] and see [what happens].”

Build your team

  • Have you come to a mutual understanding & agreement as a team?
  • Are you & your people on the same page?
  • Do you discern your connections?
  • Do you yoke yourself with everyone that you come in contact with?
  • Who is in your inner circle? Are they the right people for your team?

14 So they took two chariots with horses, and the king sent them after the Aramean army, saying, “Go and see.”
15 They went after them to the Jordan, and all the road was entirely littered with clothing and equipment which the Arameans (Syrians) had thrown away when they hurriedly fled. And the messengers returned and told the king.

Start moving

  • Have you got up from your place & started moving?

16 Then the people [of Israel] went out and plundered the camp of the Arameans. So [goods were so plentiful that] a measure of finely-milled flour [was sold] for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in accordance with the word of the Lord [as spoken through Elisha]. 17 Now the king had appointed the royal officer on whose arm he leaned to be in charge of the [city] gate; and the [starving] people trampled him at the gate [as they struggled to get through for food], and he died, just as the man of God had foretold when the king came down to him.

Disrection

  • Are you discreet about your intentions?
  • Are you willing to get about bragging about your secrets on social media before they are manifested?
  • Do you discern the timing of your movement?

18 It happened just as [Elisha] the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, “Two measures of barley will be sold for a shekel and a measure of finely-milled flour for a shekel tomorrow about this time at the gate of Samaria.” 19 The royal officer had answered the man of God and said, “Now behold, [even] if the Lord should make windows in heaven, could such a thing happen?” And Elisha had answered, “You will see it with your own eyes, but [because of your doubt] you will not eat it.” 20 And so it happened to him; for the people trampled him at the gate, and he died.
2 Kings 7:3-20 AMP

When you move, God will move ahead of you.

God moves, when I move.

Set your intention first.
