Forbes Released Its First List Of Richest People In The Cryptocurrency World

For its February 28, 2018 issue, Forbes presents its first-ever list of cryptocurrency richest people.

Chris Larsen, co-founder of Ripple got the first place having an estimated crypto net worth of $7.5 bln to $8 bln.

CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao is also part of the list with a net worth in crypto of $1.1 bln to $2 bln and is considered as the fastest to have gained his fortune in just 7 months, wherein Binance became the largest crypto exchange in the world.

China's 4th Biggest Payment Processor Joins Ripple

LianLian, a major payment processor in China is set to participate with RippleNet, the blockchain-powered cross-border payment solution of Ripple.

LianLian is licensed in Hong Kong and will serve as a gateway to other members of Ripple's blockchain payment network.

It has over 150 million users and processes billions of payments between customers and merchants such as leading online stores Amazon, eBay and Ali Express.

As agreed by both parties, LianLian will use Ripple's xCurrent which is a platform that member banks and financial institutions are using in sending and receiving cross-border payments with end-to-end tracking & two-way messaging across RippleNet.
