A Leading Low-Cost Airline In Japan Plans To Accept Bitcoin Payments

Peach Aviation, a popular low-cost airline in Japan is currently working on a system that will let them accept Bitcoin payment for airline tickets.

The airline company claims in having over 13k passengers on a daily basis, with 90 flights per day and servicing twelve domestic and thirteen international routes.

Peach Aviation is in partnership with Bitpoint for the Bitcoin payment service.

They also have plans to install Bitcoin ATMs at their airports and accept the digital currency as payments in their restaurants, souvenir shops and accommodation facilities.


South Korean Finance Minister Said Blockchain Technology Could Bring Change To The World

Kim Dong-yeon, the current Finance Minister of South Korea has given emphasis on the importance of Blockchain technology during a talk with the chief of China's central bank about cooperative economic policies.

Kim signed a new economic cooperation pact with China boosting economic cooperation between the two countries.

Upon signing the pact, the Korean Minister called for both nations to unite in the research and development of blockchain technology.

He stressed that the Blockchain can potentially become one of the core infrastructures of the 4th industrial revolution and the development of this technology can really bring change in the world.
