Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg Posted His Annual Resolution: Give People The Power Via Cryptocurrency

Mark Zuckerberg recently reflected on probably the most important challenge facing technology companies which is centralization versus decentralization.

Facebook and other similar social media sites are potentially cooperating with authorities, providing them a way to gather large nets of personal information which have taken a toll to average person's confidence in using these technology-based companies.

Zuckerberg made a statement about the possible answer to centralization which is through encryption and cryptocurrency.

He is currently interested in looking to these technologies deeper and study their pros and cons, and how to leverage them in Facebook's services.

Through encryption and technology, power could be taken from centralized systems and give it back to people's hands.


Chris Larsen, Founder Of Ripple Might Be The World's 8th Wealthiest Person

Ripple (XRP) price has reached an all-time high of $3.84 this Thursday and has undoubtedly made a lot of investors wealthy.

However, no one has benefited more than Chris Larsen, co-founder of Ripple who reportedly owns 5.19 billion XRP and holds 17% stake in the company which has 55 billion XRP in escrow.

Based on the values, Larsen could have at least $55.8 billion worth of holdings excluding Ripple's value as a company.
