Robinhood App Expands Its Operation To Two More US States

The trading app service provider Robinhood has expanded its trading operation to two more US states which brings to a total of 8 states being serviced by the crypto start-up.

According to their twitter account they will be rolling out to New Mexico and Wisconsin.

Wisconsin and New Mexico has around six million and two million residents respectively which roughly translate to 8 million possible new customers in the said two new locations.

The company also said that they are continually looking to expand its operations to other US states making sure that their service conforms to regulatory requirements on each of the State they want to offer their service to.

New South Korean Financial Head Notes Positive Aspect Of Cryptocurrencies

The newly appointed governor, Yoon Suk-heun, of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) of South Korea said in a press conference that he sees some positive aspects to cryptocurrencies.

He also added that his agency will be working with other regulators to work on regulatory “issues” on cryptocurrency. He reveals that a better crypto regulation will result to a secure financial system that will make crypto-related products more accessible.

A non-anonymous trading ban was introduced in South Korea last December which includes non-resident foreigners and South Korean citizens under 18 from trading.

Bitcoin Worldwide Adaptation Continues To Flourish

Bitcoin adaptation worldwide is growing rapidly from online courses, electronic supplies, parking and boutique hotel.

In Japan, Techacademy is now accepting bitcoin payments for their courses this is done by using Bitflyer’s Bitwise shop service that can be used to pay for all its course offering.

The Yawata Electrical Materials Purchasing Center that is located in Kyoto prefecture will start accepting bitcoin payments thru the same service offered by bitflyer mentioned earlier.

In the US, Park realty CO. Ltd which provides a parking sharing serving called QRpark will now be accepting bitcoin as one of its means to accept parking payments.

In Spain, El Tiburon, a boutique hotel located in the beach of La Carihuela cryptocurrencies as well using Coinbase Commerce to accept crypto payments.

Indian Cryptocurrency Investors Optimistic Even With Impending Bank Ban

It seems that cryptocurrency investors in India is not dissuaded from investing cryptocurrencies even though there is an active effort of by the Indian government to deter its citizens from investing in these new type of investment.

Some of the country’s banks have already suspended accounts of local exchanges albeit some are not inclined to do so.

In fact there is a significant uptrend in trading volume in India as OTC trading market and crypto-to-crypto trading are not subject to such regulations.

Emerging markets like Indonesia have always struggle to keep records accurate due to lack of expertise and resources.

With the advent of distributed ledger technology, Blockchain, they seek to solve this problem.

Blockchain is best known as the technology behind cryptocurrencies which in a nutshell is a shared record of information that is maintained and updated by a network of computers that is immutable and robust.

Its applications is far reaching from tax information and filing, elections and basically anything that requires accurate information that needs to be secure and not easily corruptible.
