Billion Dollar Gold and Silver Fund to Purchase Bitcoin

According to a Bloomberg interview, Old Mutual Gold & Silver Fund has allocated nearly $11 million from its holdings to buy Bitcoin.

The Fund manages around $220 million of mostly precious metal equities and has saved as much as 5% to invest in Bitcoin.

The company aims to gain profit from the cryptocurrency as it advances to reinvest in gold and silver assets.

Australia and Dubai Partner to Close a FinTech Deal

Both financial and securities regulators of Dubai and Australia have agreed to a FinTech deal.

They will be both work on a collaborative framework toward financial technologies innovation.

The regulatory framework will ease Fintech startups and businesses to enter each other's markets.

The agreement will also include sharing of information on innovative FinTech developments to each other, specifically in regulatory technology (RegTech) where trials will occur between the regulators.
