Korea's Second Largest Bank is Building Secure Crypto-Wallets
Recently, one BIG announcement in South Korea was released, wherein Shinhan Bank, which currently the second largest bank in the country is jumping in to the world of cryptocurrencies.
The bank is currently in the process of building a secure cryptocurrency wallets for its customers.
The news came after the crash of Bithumb servers this November and private information for 30,000 users leaked in June.
The bank will offer zero fee deposits but will charge a fee for withdrawals.
A Swiss Online Bank has Launched Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Product
Online banking service Swissquote Bank has recently launched a bitcoin exchange-traded certificate, which is designed to curb the volatility of cryptocurrencies.
The product is called Bitcoin Active Certificate which works by moving investor's holdings between USD and BTC with the aid of a machine learning algorithm.
The algorithm predicts short-term market movements by using technical index, buy and sell pressure & social media sentiment analysis.
The bank will hold from 60% to 100% of the portfolio in BTC, depending on its bitcoin price prediction, while the remaining fund will be held in USD.
Also, all trades will be done through SIX Swiss Exchange.
