It has been 2 months since my last post about the cryptocurrency called CLAMs. Many new people came onto steemit since then and they probably have some CLAMs by themselves if they held a balance on May 12th 2014 in Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Dogecoin wallets. Even though Clamcoin is not developed anymore and their twitter account was not used for quite some time, people still do trade and care about this coin.
What are CLAMs?
It's the world's first proof-of-chain and the most widely held cryptocurrency! A set amount of CLAMS were randomly distributed to 3.1 million Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin addresses on May 12, 2014. Addresses after this date don't have any CLAMs in them.
You will get 4.6 CLAMs per address that qualify, which is almost 35 dollars at the current price. Clamcoin is doing really good right now.
Another great thing is that you can check online if your address qualify or not. You only need to know the address and go to this site, where you can check it for yourself - https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig
However, even if it would say that your address qualify you should not use freebitcoins.com for "digging" the CLAMs, because they need your wallet's private keys! There is always a risk giving your private keys away so I don't recommend doing it like this at all!
What you should do is download the CLAM wallet by yourself here - https://github.com/nochowderforyou/clams/releases

Then you just have to import the wallet.dat file to the CLAM client. Your coins will be there and you can do whatever you want with your CLAMs - hold them, stake them or exchange them for a cryptocurrency with brighter future. :)
I still hold mine, because CLAMs market cap is really low and just a few more people could really push the price higher. Also you can still have a lot of fun with your CLAMs in many gambling sites (such as https://just-dice.com).
