1)The analogy to an asset bubble is unsuitable

In principle, it is possible to fundamentally analyze whether an overvaluation, or bubble, of the asset has been received or not. During the Dot-Com bubble, for example, there was a company called Internet Capital Group. This company had sales of 70 million US dollars and made a loss of 150 million US dollars. Nevertheless, it had a valuation according to market capitalization of 56 billion US dollars. To recognize that this is a massive overvaluation is not particularly difficult.

Bitcoin is not a company. There is no revenue or profitability according to productivity. A business-oriented approach is accordingly unsuitable. This is also a reason why many investors, e.g. Warren Buffet, are rather negatively opposed to bitcoin and gold since these assets do not have any cash flow.

Grundsätzlich kann anhand der betriebswirtschaftlichen Kennziffern fundamental analysiert werden, ob eine Überbewertung, sprich Blase, des Anlagegutes eingetroffen ist oder nicht. Während der Dot-Com-Blase gab es zum Beispiel ein Unternehmen namens Internet Capital Group. Dieses Unternehmen hatte einen Umsatz von 70 Millionen US-Dollar und machte einen Verlust von 150 Millionen US-Dollar. Trotzdem hatte es eine Bewertung gemäß Marktkapitalisierung von 56 Milliarden US-Dollar. Zu erkennen, dass es sich hierbei um eine massive Überbewertung handelt, ist nicht sonderlich schwer.

Bitcoin ist allerdings kein Unternehmen. Es gibt keine Einnahmen oder eine Rentabilität gemäß Produktivität. Entsprechend unpassend ist eine betriebswirtschaftliche Betrachtungsweise. Dies ist auch ein Grund warum viele Investoren, wie z.B. Warren Buffet, eher negativ gegenüber Bitcoin und Gold eingestellt sind, da diese Anlagegüter über keinen Cashflow verfügen.
