[Lost in Translation 6] Ready to Feast on Korean BBQ? Let me invite you all to the world of #MukSteem! / 두유노 먹스팀?

Dear culture lovers,
let me invite you all to the world of MUKSTEEM. Note that this episode might be a little bit spicy if you love Korean food ;)

You probably all know us Koreans love our food. The world has slowly but surely taken up Korean cuisine as a mainstay in international grub. The enthusiasm has extended to Steemit and has created its own platform for connoisseurs to continue their food-practice (and to be honest, in some cases eating-practice). #Muksteem / 먹스팀

You will be surprised how well this tag is doing. This is one of the sustainable hashtags that has been extremely popular without requiring much moderating effort.

“Muk/먹” means to eat (먹다). When combined with other nouns, it becomes a whole new trending word like #Muksteem. Let’s explore! Like before in this series, 100% of the SBD payouts will go to the showcased authors to encourage ongoing and new-user production.

Let's get it started!

What the Muk? @Muksteem

@Muksteem dedicated his entire account to showcasing the phenomenon. He shows the beautiful photos of well-prepared food and the location of the restaurants, most of which are in the capital Seoul and the innovative city Pangyo. His consistency is what really brings #muksteem to the forefront. Any time we want an idea of a unique lunch, we go and check out his latest adventure.

@Muksteem has also taken on the moderating role for the hashtag. Anytime a user explores this trail for the first time, he always reaches out in a warm manner to encourage cross-engagement.

Escaping the Digital World for a Tastier One @Jungs

@Jungs is a programmer in South Korea that travels the nation and take photos of all of his incredible meals. He has been curating his own Food Travel Series. He shows us everything: from the dining table full of well-prepared dishes to food reviews at the end. The innocuous food photos have caused a lot of late-night delivery calls in the KR community…

스팀에서만큼은 프로그래머보단, 맛집 여행가! @Jungs님, 여행기와 먹스팀 재밌게 보고 있습니다! :) 부럽습니다!

Turning a Domestic Life into a Delicious One @siritable

@Siritable just might be the most “wonderful” showcase of #muksteem. She both beautifully prepares and documents her process, in the same tradition as @gringalicious and @allasyummyfood. And they’re not just single dishes. Instead, her focus is on synergistic assemblages of home cuisine. Her meticulous plating and neat postings on Steemit captured many users eyes from the beginning.

Most recently, she has kick-started 'How To Place Dishes;' An amazing tutorial series for newbies in plating style. Check her out!

All rights to @siritable

@Siritable님의 센스 가득한 밥상! 시리님 처럼 플래이팅을 하는 그 날 까지 열심히 보겠습니다 ㅎㅎ

Let me know what you think! Does this make you want to go all munch-crazy?? And from now on, be sure to use #muksteem when you eat Korean food!
