Civic brings identification verification to the blockchain.
Parties (Validators and users) that are involved with the verification process are rewarded with CVC.
CVC can be used to use identity services, access background checks, credit reports, and have access to a blockchain notary.
Personal Healh Information is one area of interest that Civic is targeting as well as a secure log-in method like used currently with wikiHow below.

Lisk (LSK)
Lisk is a decentralized network (with 10 second block times) in which you can build you own blockchain applications on.
Uses Delegated Proof of Stake similar to Bitshares and its a platform in which you can build anything from IOT solutions to a social media platform on.
With Lisk the design and implementation of sidechains is made easier.
Lisk's rebranding in is coming soon. Is the reason for the price increase recently?
