Part IV


Inside the foggy and gloomy forest, a group of people are carefully walking.

"Are you sure it that it could be found here?" a girl in green asked.

"According to lord silver dragon, it should be here," answered a male youth.

"Since the information is from the silver dragon itself, it should be reliable," a middle aged man with a giant axe chimed.

"I'm just asking question!" huffed the girl in green.

"Um... according to the book, this location is correct," said a timid looking girl.

This group of people are the ones assigned by the king to look for the herb known as the silver-winged dahlia to heal the wounded silver dragon.

The green clothed girl is called Aria the huntress, an adventurer famous for her bow and arrow. The middle-aged man with the big axe is Boris, another famous adventurer. The male youth is the young blcksmith apprentice Matthew, who delivered the news of the black dragon's imminent attack. Lastly, the timid looking girl is Amy, Matthews childhood friend and a potioneer's apprentice.

After being asked by the king to stay, Matthew was then asked by the king to look for the silver-winged dahlia. The reason the king asked Matthew is because he was impressed of Matthew's courage. He also believed that the young man is destined for something greater than being a blacksmith student.

To ensure the young man's safety, the king hire two famous adventurer to protect and help Matthew looked for the herb. As for Amy, after hearing about the Matthew's quest, she quickly offered her assistant, claiming that as a potioneer's apprentice, she would be a huge help. Faced with Amy's persistance, Matthew got a headache and was forced to agree to her request.

*Thuk! * *Thuk! *

Back to the present, the group cautiosly traversed the dangerous Forest of Gloom when Aria detects the presence of monsters.

"Monsters at 3 o'clock! Everyone be careful," Aria warned in a hush voice.

Matthew and Amy visibly tensed up hearing the warning but Boris is nonchalant. His years of experience played a big part in his calmness. Aria is not doing bad herself but is not as calm as Boris. After all, they are still inside the Forest of Gloom.

*Creeek! *

Aria notch an arrow to her bow an pull till it took the form of a half-moon. And then...

*Swoosh! * *Roar! *

A monster was hit and roar in pain! Aria quickly notched another arrow and shot! Before long the roar stopped.

Aria scanned the surrounding and no longer feel the presence of monsters.

"Alright all the monsters are dead we should continue," she said confidently.

Both Matthew and Aria were shocked of Aria's prowess. They didn't think that despite being the same age as them, she's incredibly skilled and powerful.

Seeing the shock on Matthew and Amy's faces, Aria is feeling a little smug. She is about to say something when she heard Boris' warning! But before she could react...
