Into the Ether of the Blockchain Universe
Last week, we announced round 2 of our cryptocurrency art challenge! The results have been overwhelming and incredibly creative. Today we’re thrilled to share a some of our favorites and encourage you to explore the full list of artists, here.
Participants were tasked with interpreting the ETH logo through the lens of a famous artist (Picasso, Van Gogh, David Hockney, Michelangelo etc.) - or style (cubism, pointilism, bauhaus, deconstructivism, impressionism, etc.) Other components of the image (background, details, other elements) were completely up to their imagination.
Here are some of our favorite and most creative entries!
@katalinaooma’s Art Deco-thereum
@katalinaooma created a classic and elegant interpretation of Ether in the style of the Art Deco movement! This illustration looks like a scene drawn right out of The Great Gatsby. Cheers to you katalinaooma.

@karmachela’s Ethereal Illusion
@karmachela’s work creates a hypnotic trance out of the Ethereum logo. Could this be some sort of Proof of Work mysticism or casting of spells? Is it all an illusion after all? We loved this one. Karmachela did a tremendous job of showcasing the process of creating the work and ideas along the way.

Perhaps Ethereum has been around all this time? Mbell interprets the logo through renowned Russian constructivist Aleksandr Rodchenko. Thanks for this amazing collage and beautiful process!
