Morning on my side of the world and you know what that means... GREEN SMOOTHIE TIME!!!!! A simple combination of fresh leafy greens, flavorful sweet fruits, and a hydrating liquid base is all it takes to put a smile on my face.

Since stepping into the health limelight, green smoothies have taken the health world by a storm. When we started our green smoothie adventure many years ago there were only a few green smoothie lovers out there. Many people claimed them to be a new diet fad that would not survive. Little did those people know how addictive these yummy green drinks are.

And they are so good for you. We all know how important veggies - especially leafy greens - are for our body. But let's be honest, nobody would down a whole plate of spinach or kale in the morning. That's where green smoothies come to play.

I couldn't be any happier to see so many people around the world joining the green smoothie bandwagon.

TROPICAL MORINGA MORNING BLISS 🍍🥝🌿

INGREDIENTS


  • 2 cups fresh moringa (if not available use spinach and add some moringa powder)
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • 2 kiwifruit
  • 1.5-1 cup frozen tropical fruits (we used a mix of papaya and pineapple)
  • 1 big ripe banana
  • Optional topping: chia seeds

DIRECTIONS


  1. Blend coconut water and moringa (or spinach) until smooth. Add all other ingredients and blend again. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw everything in at once. Add more water if needed.
  2. Optional: Supercharge your smoothie with superfoods such as hemp hearts, chia seeds or goji berries. I used chia seeds this time.
