Morning on my side of the world and you know what that means! GREEN SMOOTHIE TIME. Today's green smoothie is going to be much needed. Yesterday we moved all the equipment for the bakery which was a hell of a job! Didn't expect that everything was going to be so heavy and hard to move. But we did it!

Today we are going to give everything its place so my friend and baker can start baking in the coming days. He is getting super excited. First we will concentrate on deliveries to hotels, bars, guesthouses, etc while we turn the downstairs of the house and the garden into a coffee shop and later we will start doing health food too!

The bakery equipment we bought was from an existing successful bakery that had to close down due to personal reasons. They mainly concentrated on deliveries and people are very eager to get Belgium breads again! Hence why we'll pick up where they left before we can start we the coffee shop and health cafe idea!

Step-by-step will get there!

But first things first a green smoothie to get us started!

TROPICAL MORNING BLAST 🍍🌴🌞

INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2 FOR BREAKFAST)


  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 cup mango
  • 1 cup papaya
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 big banana (or 3 small tropical banana)
  • 1 tbsp moringa powder
  • Water as needed
  • 1-2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil

DIRECTIONS


  1. Place spinach and water in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add all other ingredients and blend again. If you have a high -speed blender you can throw everything in at once. If the smoothie is too thick for you at more water.
  2. Optional: top with superfoods like chia seeds, hemp hearts, or goji berries if you like. I used chia seeds and hemp hearts this time this time.
