Creamy Avocado Zoodles with Bacon {Keto, Low Carb, Paleo}

Zucchini noodles (aka Zoodles) with crispy bacon, all with a delicious lemon garlic avocado cream, makes a crazy delicious healthy dinner.

Well, this recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free, low in carbohydrates, also fits into ketogenic, paleo and Whole30 diets + besides the super flavors, you can get vitamins from zucchini and healthy fats from avocado.

Avocado Bacon Zoodles


Prep time: 10 mins | Cook time: 5 mins | Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • ½ lemon's juice
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves
  • black pepper
  • sea salt
  • 3-4 bacon slices
  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil | olive oil

Let's make this!

  1. Put the avocado, garlic and basil leaves into a food processor. Process until well combined and creamy, then add the lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry them as you like.
  3. Using a spiralizer or vegetable peeler prepare the zucchini noodles. Sauté them for 2-3 minutes, until the zucchini is not raw, but not soggy yet.
  4. Mix the zoodles with the avocado sauce then top with bacon.
