If it’s okay with you guys………..we’re havin’ burgers tonight!
I know today is already July 4th but I figured it's only the beginning of grilling season so these are on cue. So who’d like a towering, two-hands-required, cheese-stuffed burger served hot off the grill????
So, question; do you guys go through random food phases/ruts too?
I mean, you’d think with the fact that I cook and try new recipes basically everyday I’d switch up more often but my family still has their favorites that we gravitate towards and I still have my arsenal of easy go-tos for days when I’m not feeling very creative. There are just so many food possibilities and so many things I’m always wanting to try but having such a big fam works both ways.
What I mean is that, yes, there are more people to try new things than your average family and therefore I can usually count on at least one person to like my latest experiment, but there are also more palates to please so when I’m attempting to please them all at once my choices are a lot more limited. Does that make sense?
Grilling out always makes the whole gang happy though, and we’d do it more but the style of grilling for this size of family is a bigger ordeal than just heating up a small gas grill. But we decided to make the most of a recent sunny day and grill burgers because it's summer!
We didn’t grill out nearly as much as we wanted to during the Spring so everyone was acting as if they’d never had a burger before and totally loving them, which was really amusing to me for some reason. There’s nothing like watching the carnivore inside a teenage boy come alive.
Okay, and now that I’ve been rambling on and on I’m finally going to get to actually talking about this recipe. These monster awesome burgers will totally complete your mother’s, father’s, or just just plain old boring week day! Those of you who live up North have all kinds of summer holidays coming that you’re probably gonna need inspiration for so you have no excuse, you’ve gotta try these! They’re also so simple people, for reals. Here, let me break it down to prove my point;
All you do is heat the grill then season and pat out the meat, stir up the filling and stuff the burgers, then wrap in bacon and let em have it with some heat, now gather your toppings and buns and put it all together like a pro and you’re DONE!
Ready, Set, Devour!!!!
As always, the recipe is available upon request. The first request gets an upvote.
