It's a beautiful day!! What do you say to a power packed smoothie to get through hump day?
Ok, I will admit it, I added a lot of photos on this one. If you have followed me, you'll know that I am a fanatic for berries, I mean it's a real condition!
All of these food photos were taken with my Nikon D5300 and my favorite Lens, the Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G,
With the summer coming in strong now, all the berries are arriving so it's smoothie time!
Here's a little challenge for you; The next time you go to buy berries, take a look and see where they are from. Chances are really good that they are from Chile. Let me know what you discover.
And for any of you that have not discovered coconut milk, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Seriously, you need to get acquainted quick. It's an amazing ingredient and there are so many natuaral properties that extremely beneficial for you.
Coconut Milk, Mixed Berry, and Greek Yogurt Smoothie
Yield: 4 - 6
Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries
2 cups fresh blueberries
4 peaches, pitted
1 cup greek yogurt
1 (8 ounce) can of coconut milk
1/2 cup orange juice
2 - 4 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and SMOOTHIE AWAY!!
