I quit!!! she screamed as she was stomping out of the office. Nothing is working in this shithole place!!!
Fuming. Angry. Why did she wait so long to walk out of that door?
The writing was on the wall for a long time. First, that bill wasn't getting paid and her boss asked her to call the supplier and tell him that the check was in the mail.
Right!
As if anyone believed that. Ever. Hah. Now, with paying online and the money is there in a minute. The old trick of writing a check and handing it to a person after 5 pm on Friday - which gave you until Monday to cover the funds.
