This is my Day 202 5-minute freewrite for Day 202: 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday - Prompt: parasol.

The parasol rested on her shoulder but did nothing to shade her from the sun. Emily shifted in her seat only to get a glaring look from the photographer.

She had hoped to be Rome by today, but her travel plans had not worked out. It was easier this way, she thought. He’d never think to look for her here.

Not among the rich and famous.

She was safe here, and that was all that mattered. She didn’t have to hide her face anymore. Or at least that is what she believed as she sat still for the camera.

By nightfall she had began to feel at ease. She had no close calls today. She had no suspicious phone calls or letters arrive at the hotel. She felt as if she could finally relax.

Then there came a knock at the door.

Her heart sank, and the worst thoughts surfaced before the more rational ones. She had to be careful. If he found her, she would never escape again.

The knock got louder as she stared at the door. What would happen if she didn’t answer?

“Hello?” She said softly and a bit out of character.

“Hello my Pretty. I’ve found you.”

Ding!- Good start... may have to revisit this one!
