The Bus~ Day 65 Freewrite Prompt: toilet

The bus was very long and narrow and way in the back was a very, very tiny room but the little girl was so happy it was there as she had a problem that caused her no amount of grief everytime she had to travel.

This time it was on a bus she couldn't control, no whining or begging would pull this bus over .........she walked down the aisle with brother and Mom........found a seat by the window while gripping her case.

The case holds all that was dear to her heart, her tiny pillow and puff dog with hearts. She settled in that huge seat that was her's for the trip and tried as a good girl to not think of THAT!

She was brought up knowing it was best to sleep when on long trips where stopping was a feat.

The problem arose when she woke up from her nap......she HAD to go there was no turning back. Her Mother sighed and said okay.......it's back there you go.....and make sure you wash your hands before you come back.

To that tiny little girl walking down that long aisle that had a very large door looking like a huge angry smile. A smile that would soon swallow her whole.

She inched up to it and with sweaty hands open that door to the tiny room. She so wanted to leave that door open a crack cuz to close it meant she was soon to be in the black but she had to Go! Now or ! the mess that would come would be worse than the monster.

So sucking in her breath she slowly closed the door and as she did so Thank God a light came on......she still hurried still but made sure she was all done as the ride was very far from over.

Washing her hands she was proud of herself for surviving the blackness and just carrying on when she turned to the door and pulled. That door didn't budge in her tiny little hands and the sweat started rising up in her body. She tried not to panic while trying to open that door once again.

The time seems to go on forever while the panic kept rising in her that day until there was no turning back. She knew she would have to call out for help.

She closed her eyes and said a prayer that she would be free as she filled her lungs with stale air and called the one word that she knew would bring help.

Mommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

She walked with her head down back to her seat, took her traveling case and opened it. Inside she felt all her things, took out her dog and gave it a hug while pressing her face against the windowpane wishing and wishing the ride would be over so people would stop staring and whispering about her.

That tiny girl survived to live another day...........
