"Feet as soft as fog"

The fresh snow had put a great load on the roof of our house and even clogged our chimney overnight so I decided to go and clean it first thing in the morning.

I got the ladder from the basement, alligned it properly, called my wife to hold it just to be extra safe and climbed on the roof. I wasn't afraid of heights, but climbing that ladder sure sent chills down my spine. It was rocking all the time and no step felt as stable as I would have wanted it to feel.

I got to the top and congratulated myself for the good work. I decided to wave down to my wife when I suddenly slipped and slid over a meter and a half and fell over the edge of the roof.

I yelled at the top of my lungs when I hit the floor.

Fortunately, it too was covered in fresh snow so it made the impact a little more bearable. Still, I hurt my back badly; but declined the ambulance when my wife offered to call. I was able to stand up after all.

After arguing a little with my wife about my condition, we finally agreed I was to go for a thai massage to help me with the pain in my back.

She drove me to the local Thai massage parlor and I can't tell you how good that felt.

The woman walking on me weighed around 120 to 130 lbs and I'll admit I could feel every pound of her weight very well. But oh boy, her feet. I could swear they were, as silly as it sounds, as soft as fog.

Ding. Time is up.
