The perfect screenshot in Sims 4 pt 2~How to

Hi Everyone!

This is Part 2 of The perfect screenshot in Sims 4~How to if you have not read Part 1 you might want to go back and read that first.

Today I found myself awake stupid early so thought I would revisit a few old house builds to see if I could get better screenshots. I did, I'm happy to say.

The first thing I tried was to do screenshots in build mode and that does not work.

You will have to have Sim's in your house to use the better screenshot mode.

If you don't really want to play the game and are just taking screenshots of your new build, go to Create a Sim, use one of the presets, and load the game with your new Sim on an empty lot.

From there pause your game, hit Ctrl +Shift+C. A type box will come up in the upper lefthand corner. Type in testingcheats on hit enter.

Then type money 1000000 and hit enter.

Your new Sim now has enough money to buy the house you want to take screenshots of.

Next, click on your Sims phone and go to move household.

Pick the lot with the house you want to take screenshots of and move in.

Once you have your Sim there click on the grass away from the house and have your Sim stand there so they don't get in the way of the screenshots you are going to be taking.

Make sure you pause your game here.

A bit of a warning here too.

If you get seasick / motion sick you might want to be careful while flying around with your camera taking screenshots as it does cause a wee bit of motion sickness.

One of the really cool things I got to finally see in my houses was some of the special effects I had put in. The house where I was learning how to make a loft finally gave me screenshots that really showed off the loft area and how it would look in real life. That made me very happy.

The screenshots definitely come out at a higher resolution while using the tab mode to take screenshots. I also think the color and lighting are better too.

All in all, it really opens up the possibility of doing some cool arty type shots. Something I will keep in mind when next I build a house.

I hope some of the screenshots you just saw help to show how with a bit of time you can take some really cool photos in Sims 4.

Happy Gaming!
