6. CHIA SEEDS - With chia seeds, you receive an enormous amount of nutrients into a low-calorie food. Just one serving of chia seeds gives you 30% of your RDA of manganese, 30% of your RDA of magnesium, and 27% of your RDA of phosphorus.

They are also a great source of high-quality protein, something your body needs for muscle building. With their protein and fiber content, chia seeds can aid in weight loss as well.

7. EGGS – We all know that eggs are an incredible source of protein, but what else can this food do for our health? Well, they actually contain almost every nutrient your body needs, including vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats.

Eggs help to keep your HDL (good) cholesterol level high, which helps reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. One final note, eggs contain a healthy amount of choline, an uncommon nutrient that 90% of the US population aren’t getting enough of – and since it aids in methylation (process of building DNA), nerve function and muscle movement, it is a fairly important nutrient for your body.

This Vitamin C source also promotes a health immune system to prevent illness. Finally, since the kiwi offers a large source of zeaxanthin and lutein eating 3 servings of this fruit each day can help to protect your vision from getting worse.
