As you know, many countries have already published their teams for #thediarygame phase 2. In our case, we happen to recruit some very new Steemit members in order to construct a team. Even though we haven't published the team formation post yet, we are daily preparing for the #thediarygame which will further discuss at the end of this article.
According to Bruce Tuckman, a team passes 5 levels before it becomes high performing. There are several risks involved when preparing a new team with members who haven't even seen before. So we were agreed to take time to understand and know each other well, before finalizing the team.
When comparing with Tuckman's five stages of team development we have already passed the forming stage.

The members were introduced to the team and they got to know each other. We worked on some achievement in Steem Greet which helped to understand skills of each team member. Also we clarified the team's main goal about the increasing Sri Lankan community and sub-goal of participating #thediarygame as a team.
The team is now at the end of the second phase, Storming Stage. The competition among each member has increased but in a positive manner. Members have started to challenge each others' weaknesses while improving their skills more than others.
I am expecting that the team will reach stage 3, soon. When we enter to Norming stage we will introduce the team to the whole community. As we have 11 days remaining we can still take time to ready the team for competition. If someone interested in forming a second group for Sri Lanka can join with us We need someone to lead a second team.
During the first week, new recruits got many good experiences by posting. They are now ready with a basic understanding of the platform.
