The evening was shot. Too many obligations and responsibilities ruined the chance for much else to get done. There was no choice for me... I just had to feel like something productive was accomplished.
Family Fun
We had about an hour of sunlight left, so I gathered a few tools and a couple kids and set out to get a few boards put on the barn! SOMETHING needs to be done before I go to bed LOL.
There were five boards that were going to be easy enough to install, so that was my goal. The three 1x6 trim boards at the top front and the two remaining fascia bards on the fronts of the rafters. We could get that much done. There was no heavy lifting and no special cuts. It was as simple as having one kid (my daughter in this case) hold one end of the board while I screwed them in. My son, Luke, wanted to feel like he was helping too so he handed us boards and held the ladders.
